Mycobacterium tu-birthday

Yeah, his birthday is actually on the 21st (I think), but close enough. ^^
(or since he's a shinigami, would it be his death-day? )



Who better to give Ukitake his own set of "stress-reliever" bacteria plushies than your's truly, a germophobic epidemiology-enthusiast?

The little story behind this is that, a while back, about a month and a half ago, I bought the "petri dish" set of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (click here to buy your own! 8D) plushes from GiantMicrobes.com (shameless plug, YAY!! I love that site! ^^)

Anyway, shortly after I'd ordered them, I'd told Ramia about the little critters over the phone and justified my purchase with, "But...they're CUTE!! And fuzzy! And GREEN!! 8D"

If I remember correctly, she made a comment about giving Ukitake those for his birthday (or something like that)
Oddly enough, I looked up when his ficticious birthday is, and it was on Dec 21, only about a month after I got the plushies. Oo;
Perfect timing!!

And yes, when I got them in the mail, the first thing I did was squeeze one of them like Uki's doing in the picture. XD



_{...and for those of you who are concerned for the [remaining] health of my dear little Ukitake plushie, fear not. ^^ I generally keep the little TB bacterium in their dish, and in the adjoining room. They're nowhere near the little guy.}
