So much on my mind now...

EDIT:: I keep forgetting that I never said this in the description before-- This is a MINI-POSTER! I drew the whole thing out on 11x14 bristol-board! ^^

Anyhow, this is my entry for the FMA fanart contest that *griffinstudios is holding! ^^


Even though he won't admit it, Ed is still a kid. But even though he's only 15, he has more things weighing on his mind than most adults do-- He has the goal of returning his younger brother Al back to his human body, constant threats of Scar and the Homunculii, deal with the issues of being under the military's thumb, and also try to maintain his own automail while not straining his relationship with Winry.

Thank God for settei, that's all I have to say... X.x;;

I'm so proud of myself! This was my first time drawing most of these characters! (Only ones I've drawn before were Ed and the Homunculii ) Honestly, I considered putting Ed & Al's parents in there, as well as Nina, but in the end, I opted to leave it like it was... (That, and I had no references with me on how to draw Hoenheim... >.>;; )
Every one of the scenes in it has some sort of metallic accent (the Homunculii have the most accents-- Eyes, leathery-outfits, hair highlights, and Gluttony's...uh...drool were all done in metallic... ) Even Ed's hair has glittery gold streaks in it! :3
I also based Roy's pose off the little Gashapon figure of him (although when I drew him at first, the view was intended to be from the front, but as I started coloring him in, it started looking more and more like a back-view... Oh well, a back-view works fine too, I guess...! ^.^;; )

I'm considering taking this one with me to whatever con I go to next year (either AnimeNorth or Otakon) and getting it signed by some FMA voice actors! *gets starry eyes*


Done in 4 nights using a Pentel Techniclick, Micron pens, Prismacolor pencils, and some metallic gel pens ^^
