Crap, I can't even type right. XD...."4:34 ma."...YEAH.
Anyhow, about to hit the sack. I just finished packing my clothes/PJs/costumes/wig/shoes into my suitcase, and I'm snagging some last-minute messages on DA. I just finished cutting all of the thigh hem-trimming off of 2 pairs of underwear about an hour ago (lycra bodysuit for my Yoruichi cosplay. I don't want my panty-line to show. |D *hehehe*), I'm totally topless, and I smell funny. (I've been bathing the top half of my body in tanning lotion since Sunday. Hence why I smell weird and can't wear clothes until it dries.)

Just got to the hotel (FINALLY. My GPS --the voice it's set on is known as "Lori"-- decided to get all pissy after Ramia pointed out how annoying the voice was. XD After about an hour of driving, Lori suddenly ERASED I-40 and told us that we were in the middle of a green field. O___o She kept telling me to "make a left turn at the next stoplight", while I was going 70 MILES PER HOUR ON THE INTERSTATE). Anyhow, we just got all of our
crap luggage into the hotel room, hiked to the con-hotel, and picked up our con badges. :3 Mine has "Yoruichi Shihouin" for my nickname.
AHAR.
Anyhow, the others are watching South Park at the moment, and I'm about to tackle the shower. ^_^;;; For I am sweaty and must change clothes before snuggling my plushie.

Friday--(6:25 pm)
OOOH. Holy crap on a cracker, WE MET VIC. 8D And heard him SING.
IN PERSON. *spazzdeath of happiness*
Someone was asking him what his favorite character was that he'd voiced. Someone else in the audience told him, "Just say Dark!" and he laughed. XD At that EXACT MOMENT, he saw cosplayers of Dark & Krad (DNAngel...he voiced the ungodly prettiness that is called Dark, for those of you who don't know. XD). He FLIPPED OUT. He called them into the panel room, had them stand behind him, and
SANG THE DN ANGEL THEME SONG.
At the end of the panel, he showed his FMA music video to his song "Nothing I Wouldn't Give" and OH MY GOD, both me and Ramia were on the verge of TEARS. O__o It's SOOOOO pretty! TTwTT
After that, he had a mini-autograph signing out in the hallway, but the line was ridiculously long. We ran through Artist Alley (where I met *
ryuuenx!!! She's so awesome! And we traded the pics that we'd done in March for a sketch trade, so I got my
"Ukitake Glompage" and she got her
"Caffienated Dreams"!!!
On our way into the con, I also met up with ~
ArtikGato again, who I haven't seen since Animaz '06!
It's always so cool to meet up with folks from DA!!)
After wandering through the Alley a bit more, we went to the dealer's room for a while until Vic's line died down (I found a Kougaiji pin and a little gashapon figure of Ukitake.
*dork*). After that, we went back, hopped in line and Ramia & Gabby finally got to meet him! ^^ (They've never met him, and have been dying to! ^^)
Ramia didn't have her autograph stuff with her, but she gave him a print of my "
Pre-Fight Dance" comic. He got a kick out of it, and thankfully didn't kill me for tormenting his poor character yet again. And I handed him my "
Saiyuki: Kougaiji" pic.....aaaaaand he thought it was a gift. ^_^;; I got all nervous and asked him to sign it, but made sure to tell him that I DO have other gifts for him...
(And Ramia told me that some guys were checking out my lycra-bodysuit-covered butt while we were walking to the con. *lawlz*)

We did our "Drunken Cosplay"** shoot at the hotel bar, so I dusted off the ol' fluffy vest again. XD Got OH SO MANY photo requests. :3
After that, Gabby & I browsed through Artist Alley and did some print-shopping.
...
Oh. And a
[crossplaying] Light came up to me and asked me, "Greed! Want an apple?? ^_^"
...
I'm sure the look on my face was really amusing. |D I stood there like, ".....What?....Seriously? O_o....Oh crap, it's a REAL APPLE. XDDD"
I thought she was kidding, but she was completely serious. ^^ Whaddaya know, I scored me a SNACK!!
** Our idea for the "Drunken Cosplay" was for us all to dress as characters from various series and meet up at the con-hotel bar. The only catch was that the characters had to be ones that were shown drunk or drinking frequently in whatever series they were from. In addition to my Greed costume, we ended up with Ryoko, Matsumoto, and Urahara. We also had a Hitsugaya, but since he's never shown drinking, and our cosplayer was underaged, she didn't order a drink.-------------------------------------
Saturday--(morning)

Oh God, OWWWW.
In order to get me up this morning, Ramia poked me in the shoulder, Sarah jumped on my legs, John
threatened to jump on me (until I threatened to kick him in the stomach if he tried), and ~
Babnoba picked me up (plushies and all), carried me out the door and to the guys' hotel room next door, AND DROPPED ME ON THE BED.
...
And then tickled the hell out of me, until I squirmed enough to bash my head on the headboard.

We just got back to the hotel for a break and guess what! We got to bug Vic again! ^____^
We'd seen Vic walking through the hallways (or, I should say,
I saw him. Blind-as-a-bat Ramia was 3 feet away from him and didn't even know it. >__> BAKA.) We sat down on the edge of a small wall in the hotel hallway in hopes that he might come by on his way back from a panel or something. Little did we realize that he was going to have an impromptu autograph session almost EXACTLY where we were sitting. O_____o
While we were sitting there, a few of our other group members showed up. Since we were all dressed as Bleach characters, people wanted photos of the group. A few seconds later, a group of Espada walked by, and people wanted them in the photos too.
Before we knew it, we had an ENORMOUS clan of Bleach characters, and we actually got fussed at by the con staff because the people taking photos were blocking the hallway.
The Bleach mini-photo-shoot disbanded, and sure enough, Vic showed up after we'd been sitting there for about an hour or so, and we got to bug him again. XD
That man is SUUUUUUUCH an adorable guy! ^__^
He totally adored
the big character-montage pic I did for him!! He jaw-dropped for a few seconds, then asked me "Who drew this? Is this a
gift??" and ran around the table to hug me when I answered "Me" and "Yes". XD After that, he got a good laugh out of my "
11th Division" print, and got
hilariously excited when I told him I had another bobblehead that I'd give him tomorrow. *lol* He then told me that he can't wait to see how I draw one of his new characters..... I wonder which one?
...And then, a mere 15 feet away, we got to bug Kyle! XD
I handed him
a purty Aizen pic, which he fanboyed over and hugged me. :3 And then handed him a copy of my "
Adventures in Cosplay" crackdom comic. X3 He thanked me for making him a bit thinner (and struck a bodybuilding-ish pose when he said it), and said that he really DID remember when that happened!!! |D *rofl* He also got excited when I told him about tomorrow's bobble!! ^______^ I can't wait to hand 'em out!!! (And then ~
Babnoba got Vic to sign his bald head.
Later on, he got EVERYONE to sign it. Go see his gallery for photos! XDDD)
Due to some unexpected issues, we sadly ditched the cosplay contest skit idea...but as a consolation, we were about to leave when we ran into GUESS WHO again out in the con-hotel lobby!! XDDDD Both Vic AND Kyle again!
(They were on their way to a panel, so we didn't bug them
much. Ramia just wanted to get a hug from Vic.
)
We spent a bit more time in Artist Alley (where I picked up some pins from *
zelas and the first volume of *
ryuuenx's web-manga

), and then wandered around the dealer's room some more.
Oh. And I found a cross-playing Ukitake. She gave me SweeTarts. :9

Babnoba dropped me on the bed again.
I hate to say it, but it's a fairly effective way to wake me up. (and give me a fantastic little headache in the process.)
We raced to get all of our crap packed back up and dragged out to our car/truck. After that, we had already missed the vast majority of the 11am autograph panel, and we were getting a bit worried about how we'd get our gifts to the actors (my bobbleheads, and Ramia had made them some hoodies based on their characters).
We hit a stroke of luck when the con staff announced that there was a scheduling conflict and that there would be ANOTHER autograph session at 2pm. It turned out that the guy hosting the Anime Quiz panel became sick and couldn't host it, so they switched it out with another autograph session. We bummed around the dealer's room one last time until it was time for us to line up for the autographs. (We hit the line at about 1:15, and there were already about a dozen people ahead of us)
While we were in line, we got our stuff ready to hand out. Ramia mentally-noted where each person's hoodie was in her tote bag, and I went ahead and got Vic's bobblehead box out since he was first at the table. ~
Babnoba was ahead of both of us, and got his uber-Bankai signed by Vic & Kyle.
Vic absolutely LOVED his hoodie (It was based on Ed's red coat-- it was red with the cross on the back, and a small transmutation circle on the front). While Ramia moved on to Kyle, I handed Vic his box. XD
He SQUEED.I handed Kyle his as well, while Vic picked at the tape on the box. When he got the box open, he gasped at seeing the tiny, fluffy-haired Kougaiji. XDDDD He showed him off to the next few people in the line behind me and to the other actors (Kyle laughed, and Caitlin petted his hair.
). Kyle laughed at his new little bobble-Ganju, too, while Vic got up, walked around the table and gave me another hug.
But, to my surprise, after the hug, he motioned for me to lean a little closer, and whispered to me about an upcoming series he's working on... and then told me that he would LOVE for me to make him a bobble of his character from it.
VIC REQUESTED A BOBBLE FOR ME TO MAKE!!
How cool is THAT?!?
(Guess I know what to make for him for AWA, huh? *leans back & cracks knuckles*) For autographs, I handed Vic my treasured
ending sketch of Ed (which he fanboyed over, since he knew what sequence it was from), handed Kyle a
layout sketch of Ganju & Ichigo beating each other senseless (which he apparently wants to buy the sketches from me.
Maybe my other Ganju set, we'll see...), and handed Miss Caitlin
a Shin-chan fanart of her character, Miss Anderson, Shin's teacher. ^^ Of course I gave her one too, and then I got Kara Edwards to sign
a page in my sketchbook. ^^
Eventually, after taking a break, we began the 2 hour drive home, and when I got home, Mom tried to pronounce the nickname on my con badge. (It said "Yoruichi Shihouin", remember?)
It wasn't a pretty sight.
(...and I was surprised. Kou seemed
remarkably excited to see me home. O_o He sat on his perch and sang for most of the evening. ^__^;;; )
