First off, I'd like to take a moment to honor the cracktastic gameplay of "The Sims" _{(original version, not Sims 2)}

Renji was woken up in the middle of the night by a raccoon digging in his trash can.

Despite the fact that he COULD have gone back to sleep, he decided to work out for an hour on his bench-press and then proceeded to water every plant on his property.

Win, Renji. TOTAL WIN.



Secondly, it's almost that time again--- HALLOWEEN.
I need Jackolantern ideas. |D;;;; Anybody have any ideas for patterns?
(In previous years, I've already done "Slayers", "FMA", "Bleach", and "InuYasha"....oh, and "Pirates of the Caribbean"... *lol*)



Anyway, on to the con stuff.



Thursday--
Guys were a bit late getting to my apartment (I kinda half-@$$ed my "Remote Sensing" test... *eep* And I skipped Japanese the night before so that I could get to work packing.) and it took about 15 minutes to get everyone OFF MY FRIGGIN' COUCH.

Anyhow, we finally got on the road. To make it even better, we stopped at a gas station halfway through South Carolina, at which point I realized I'd left my Yourichi black bodysuit back at the apartment. |D;;; Lucky for me, I was wearing some jet-black Wranglers, so.....they'll have to do.



Friday--
**cosplay: Cho Hakkai from "[Gensomaden] Saiyuki"**

OH MY GOD. 8D
Only about 2 hours after we got the finishing touches on our artist table, Vic & Travis had their autograph session. :3 And LUCKY US, the autograph tables were only about 50 feet away. |D Hehehe...
We couldn't leave the table at the moment, so we got desperate-- We held up a sign that said "Vic! We have your bobblehead!"
After a few moments, he saw us, kinda jawdropped, and went, "...WHAT?! "
While Ramia held up the sign, I held up his little Tamaki, and he busted into hysterics when he saw that I was holding him up. X3 Vic got up from the table right then and I slipped out from the artist area and handed him over...at which point, Vic actually knelt down on one knee and started bowing down in worship at my feet.

I just stood there, with the 200-or-so people in his autograph line staring at me, and I was thinking, "...okay, this has never happened before, what do I do now?...>>;;....<<;;...>>;;..."
...
After he stood back up I asked him, "This was the one you meant, right? ^^" _{(reference to Animazement back in May, where he requested one of his "secret new character from a secret new series" that he was working on)} and he went "YES!!" while laughing and kinda tackle-hugged me. XD He got all excited when I told him that we had an artist table about 30 feet away. I also told him that I had the Kougaiji maquette that I'd showed him photos of about 2 years earlier (same one in my gallery), and he actually took off right then to check it out! ^_________^ He ran over and started immediately fanboying over my maquettes (Kougaiji and "That Fateful Night"), and my bobbleheads (he had a royal FIT over my little Bankai-Ikkaku! XD It was so hilarious!)


(Oh. And before all of this happened, we got into the dealers' room EARLY, set up our stuff, and then did some of our shopping before all of the other attendees. XD Like, about 2 hours before everyone else. *lawl* We got first dibs on the doujinshi. I bought 60 bucks worth before the dealers room even opened. AHHHHH, one of the many perks of having an Artist-Marketplace/Dealer's-Room badge. HEH.)


Anyhow, a little while after Vic came over, he signed a big(-ish) poster of "Demon of the Flame Prison" for me. ^^ After he went back over to his autograph line, we held up an identical sign as before, except for Travis.
After some shoulder-poking "encouragement" from Vic, Travis got up and came over too. XDDDD We met him halfway again, and the first thing he said when he opened the box was "OMG, is that a little miniskirt behind him?!" _{(I'd made his little Roy bobblehead where he had his index finger out. That way he could either be posed like he'd just snapped his fingers, or that he was holding out the accessory I had for him-- A blue, military-style miniskirt on a tiny coathanger. XD)} He immediately pulled the little Roy out, and hung the miniskirt on his finger, and started laughing. ^^ And then HUGGED ME. Holy crap, I got a TRAVIS HUG. :3
After their session was over, Travis came BACK over to the table, signed my little Roy chibi, fanboyed over my "Fateful Night" maquette (he said that he was surprised that Vic hadn't tried to buy it from me. XD _{*hint-- they weren't for sale anyway. ^_^;; lolz*}), and then proceeded to do a "Talk to the hand" jesture to Ramia since she's in the Risembool Rangers. XD

A couple hours later, at Monica & Illichs' autograph session, we'd recruited another person in our group, Becka, to help us fetch those two. Since we'd notified them of their gifts after their session had already started, we had to wait until afterwards for them to come over, but meanwhile for me & Ramia, the guys in our group took pity on us and brought us some snacks from SubWay. After about an hour, as I sat there munching on my Doritos, I suddenly heard, "Hey Linds, they're here!". I looked up with a mouthful of chips to see Monica & Illich walking over. ._____o;;
(The whole time I was talking to them, I was trying to pick chips out of my teeth)
Anyhow, Monica had gotten a bobble of Lyra/Dante before, so she knew about my bobbleheads and understood the sign. XD Poor Illich was a newbie to my weirdness and had no clue about it. *lol*
Monica seemed to love her little bobble-Hyatt _{(complete with dripping blood! 8D Buy one today! Only $29.95 plus shipping and handling!)}, and Illich got a good laugh out of his little Gojyo. ^^ While they were both at our table, I got them to each sign a production sketch (here's Illich's, and here's Monica's) we even got them to do a quick little video shout-out to the Voice Actor Whores.

As each of the actors visited the table, Ramia had asked them all to sign a...well...a sign. XD We had a sign sitting on the table that said "Bobbleheads are Voice Actor Approved", so now it has "written testimonials" from Vic, Travis, Illich, & Monica. ^_____^

In addition to that, we had a small, blank sketchbook out on the table for people to write/draw anything they wanted to. ^^ Turned out to be a nice little scrapbook-type thing! I got some remarkably good artwork in there from people visiting the table!
(Midway through the day, while I took a minute to wander around shopping, Ramia decided to make another sign, to draw more attention to the sketchbook --and, indirectly, more attention to our artwork on the table-- that said "RAPE MY SKETCHBOOK!!")

Anyhow, I got a couple of bobble commissions, sold some prints, met a few friends from DA (, , , , , ....I think that's all, right?), and Hakuryu got lots of attention. ^^ After the Dealer's Room closed, we all headed back up to the rooms. Some of our group went swimming. Instead, I got a shower, and spent the rest of the evening trying to get my bangs back to normal after wearing Hakkai's headband all day. .___.



Saturday--
**cosplay: Yoruichi Shihouin from "Bleach"**

Spent most of the day at the table again, except for the short while that we were in Vic's autograph line. (What can I say-- It's fun to bug that guy. )
As we were in his line, I caught up with & again, and ended up buying both of Vic's CDs that they had available (*lol*). Becka got him to sign my CDs for me (since we were only allowed 2 items each), and I got him to sign my Ikkaku-Bankai pic and my DNAngel vol.1 DVD cover. :3

Oh. And then he asked me if he was "gonna keep getting these cool little guys" (the bobbleheads), and I told him, "Sure, if you'd like! ^^"
...
He got all excited and started trying to think of characters that I hadn't made for him yet. Oo;;
...
So yeah. I now have requests for his next FOUR bobbleheads.
_{(The ones he came up with off the top of his head were Ed, Dark, Fai, and Kurz Weber, in case you're curious.)}

A little later,3 times during the day, there were Bleach photoshoots. I was manning the table during the first one, but I caught the last two, which were at 3 and 6, I think.
The first two shoots were normal ones (whole group, Division groups, etc), but the last one was a "Situational Shoot". THIS meant that we wrote ideas down and put them in a bucket, then pulled ideas out one at a time and acted them out for the photos. ^_^ We ended up with scene re-enactments, yaoi poses, a yuri pose or two, and some random crack stuff. :3 *heh*


Afterwards, we went back to our room, ordered pizza, and hung out with a Soi Fon (~LionReine ), a Shunsui _{(who looked A LOT like Kyle Hebert, after he took his wig off)}, an Orihime, an eerily in-character Hiyori, & a Shinji with a bruised ear. A bit later, with most of us still there, we "re-dubbed" some of that night's Adult Swim anime shows. XD *lawlz0rs* I also gots a kyooooot picture of the Shunsui holding my little Uki plushie. XD *is a dork*



Sunday--
**cosplay: none **

Didn't do a whole lot today, except pack things up, bug Illich & Travis again (got a Roy production sketch and my Gojyo fanart signed, WOOT!!), say goodbye to meh friends there, and sit at the table for 3 hours waiting for Vic to stop by. *lol* We didn't leave the hotel until about 5pm. (I was planning on leaving at 3. *lol* Didn't get home until about 10:30, and I had a full day of class the next day. *LAWL*)
Anyway, as you probably already guessed, Vic stopped by for one last visit! ^^ We got him to "rape my sketchbook", he giggled over my maquettes & bobbles some more, and then he did a HYSTERICAL shout-out to "Voice Actor Wars" _{(Yes, it's actually "Whores", but.....well, I guess he mis-heard me, and this turned out so much funnier, so I didn't bother to try to correct him. XD Plus, my throat was hurting from all the laughing during the weekend.)}
Anyhow, Vic asked Becka to send a link to the video clip to him. A few minutes later, after he'd left, she started wondering how she was going to get it to him.

Everyone automatically looked at me. .___.;
Soooooo, yeah. As soon as we got back to my apartment, I sniped the video clip off of her camera's memory card and I'm emailing him as I type this. |D;;;

Speaking of Becka's video camera, on the way home, somewhere south of Gaffney SC, Ramia took it and set it up on my dashboard to catch our we-had-to-be-high-on-something conversations for almost an HOUR. XD At one point, she took some melted-ice water and dumped it out on the car behind us while we were going 70mph on I-85. (Don't worry, it was Fred's car. XD He's a friend of ours, and he was the other driver for our con group.) He flashed his headlights at us and I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard. Later on, Fred asked us why we were swerving so much. _{(Again, it was because of me laughing so much.)}
