First, I passed all of my classes! (Including Atmospheric Thermodynamics and that horribly evil Physics class!)



Almost immediately after that, it was time for my family's vacation to Arizona. It was a LONG WEEK, full of minor sunburns, dehydration, and lots of damn cactus pollen. ._. Really pretty scenery, though.



Yet again, almost immediately after vacation, it was time for Animazement. ._o SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not ready....


THURSDAY--
Thursday was mostly uneventful. We had two cars in our group, but mine was the only one with a GPS. The other car apparently got a bit lost in Raleigh, and we ended up sitting in the hotel parking lot and waiting for them for over an hour. XD
After we got our stuff settled into the hotel rooms, we attempted to find the Raleigh Convention Center so that we could pick up our badges early. After we got our badges, we walked outside to go back to the truck, only to find that --in the hotel across the street from the RCC-- there was a guy on the 4th-ish floor at the window, talking on his cell phone...
...
BUCK...
...
NAKED...
...


Later on, we got back to the hotel and somehow managed to get hooked on the show "Yes, Dear". *wtf*


FRIDAY--
We got to the con early to check in for our artist table. (Shared a table with ).
After manning the table for a while, we attempted --futile, might I add-- to find the Dealers' Room. The architect who designed the RCC had to have been ON ACID. There were apparently at least 7 elevators scattered throughout the building, and only ONE (which we never actually found) went from the bottom floor straight to the top floor.

Anyhow, after the search, we went back to the table for a bit. Sometime in the mid-afternoon, guess who stopped by?

SQUEE!!! After our fangirling, Kyle had these awesome promo cards with him and was nice enough to sign a couple for us! ^^ .....and then he petted my vest. *lol*

Soon after, there was an official autograph session (lol) where I got to meet--

Michael Sinterniklaas (Leo the Ishbalan from FMA, Leonardo from TMNT, Dean from the Venture Bros)
As you can see in the clip above, I was cosplaying as Greed again, and Mike seemed to be a bit fascinated by my latex "shielded arm". XD He poked it.

After that, we packed up a bit, went back to the hotel, had drinks, and paddled around in the hotel pool/hot-tub.



SATURDAY--
Had a bit of a rude awakening this morning. X_x;
Naturally, I snuggled with my little Ukitake plushie each night. However, I shared a bed with Deanna ( ) and a foot-tall Gin Ichimaru plushie that she'd bought at the con Friday. Uki wasn't happy with sharing a bed with another plushie....
...
We all woke up to find Gin SPOONING ME.
...
Uki was even less happy now. ._.;;

I made sure to carry him with me around the con, and gave him hugs whenever possible. He eventually seemed to cheer up a bit, so long as Gin was nowhere nearby.

At today's autograph session, we got to bug Kyle again, where I actually gave him his little Kamina. (I didn't have a box for him on Friday, so he wanted me to keep him safe for him until I could box him up. )
We also got to meet Spike Spencer!! He voices Hanataro in Bleach, Shinji in Evangelion, and a bunch of other roles. ^^
Spike had a small stack of his books out on the autograph table, "How to be a Frickin' Genius Voice Actor", and I couldn't resist. ^^ I just had to buy one from him, and he was nice enough to sign it for me! ^_^

At one point in the day, Ramia got to hear my uncharacteristically high-pitched fangirl squeak. We found a cosplayer of my #3 favorite bishie, Li Xingke from "Code Geass".

Afterwards, we went back to our hotel, played the most insane two games of Crazy Eights in the history of humanity, and fangirled over Vic's big Ikkaku-Bankai premier on Adult Swim. After that, we watched Code Geass, which ended up confusing/intriguing Ramia.
She hates us now.


SUNDAY--
Uki was NOT about to let me sleep in the same bed with Deanna and her Gin again, so I had to share a bed with Ramia. XD

Last days of cons are always kinda slow, so we just took it easy. We got our stuff packed up from the table, and made one last run on the Dealers' Room. (I spent WAY too much money on a gorgeous figurine of Lelouch/Zero from "Code Geass R2", but it was worth it, dangit! XD)
They had one last autograph session! We got to have one last time to run through and say goodbye to all the awesome guests...

I remembered that last year, Kyle was really amused by my Ichigo/Ganju sketches, so I took a few of my Ganju sketch sets. He seemed to be really thrilled with 'em, and even gave me a big hug for them! ^^ It was especially fun when the con staff girl said it was okay to hug him since he asked for it, then laughed and ordered him back to his spot at the table.



Okay, all of you going to AWA are wanting to hear my news there. (Okay, maybe not everyone, but one or two of you.) Basically, it's simply that I DO have a confirmed table there!! Keep an eye out for either Hakkai or Greed in Artist Alley! ^^
